Helping higher-level learners take their English to the next stage is the main focus of my teaching. I am a highly experienced English teacher from the United Kingdom, and my lessons are designed for students who already have a foundation in English but want to communicate with greater fluency, accuracy, and confidence.

My teaching is especially suited to upper beginner, intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced, and upper advanced learners. I work with students on accent reduction, grammar development, listening comprehension, phonetics, reading comprehension, speaking practice, vocabulary development, and writing correction. I also support learners who need academic English, business English, colloquial English, or interview preparation.

I have taught both general English and business English, in group classes and one-to-one lessons. I also have experience helping students prepare for English exams, including KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, and IELTS. My teaching style is flexible, focused, and responsive to each student’s goals.

My background includes professional qualifications in English language teaching to adults, teacher education, and TESOL, as well as a B.A. in Philosophy and Politics from the University of Sheffield. My goal is to make lessons useful, challenging, and enjoyable, with clear progress over time.
