Fun, friendly conversation is an important part of how I teach. I like students to feel as if they are speaking with a supportive friend while still receiving useful correction, feedback, and clear language practice.

I am an American English teacher living in Spain, and I work with both children and adults. My experience includes supporting children ages 6–9 in a classroom, coordinating an adult ESL program for Hispanic adults, assisting with bilingual education in elementary schools, and teaching private English classes to families and adult learners. I can also use Spanish when it helps students understand class details or feel more comfortable.

My lessons can include American English, accent reduction, grammar development, listening comprehension, phonetics, reading comprehension, speaking practice, vocabulary development, and writing correction. I teach beginner, upper beginner, intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced, and upper advanced learners.

For older students, I can also help with colloquial English and interview preparation. I plan lessons around each student’s level, goals, and interests, often using guided conversation, icebreakers, reading or listening activities, and feedback at the end of class. My goal is to make English feel practical, enjoyable, and easier to use in real life.
