About me
Many learners improve faster when lessons feel personal, encouraging, and connected to real life. My classes focus on helping students speak more naturally, understand English better, and build confidence through steady practice and clear correction.
I have over 30 years of experience teaching English as a second language, including work in Spain, the United Kingdom, and online. My teaching background includes lessons for business professionals, exam learners, and students who want to improve everyday communication. I also have experience in continuous assessment, language support, and helping learners develop their own confidence and independence.
For children and teenagers, I can support grammar development, listening comprehension, phonetics, reading comprehension, speaking practice, vocabulary development, writing correction, and accent reduction. My lessons are best suited for upper intermediate and upper advanced learners.
For older students, I can also help with academic English, business English, colloquial English, and interview preparation. My style is warm, conversational, and responsive to each learner’s needs. I aim to make English lessons useful and enjoyable, so students can express themselves more clearly and feel more confident using English in real situations.
